The two dive centers in Guinjata Bay offers ocean safari's and whale watching excursions.

During the months from June through to October/November the humpback whales are in abundance and use the area for raising their calves. This is the best way to get close to these massive animals and have an amazing view of them feeding, playing and cruising around.

During ocean safari's you can expect to see dolphins, turtles, a variety of sea-life and visit the Paindane reef.

COCONUT BAY

15km's North of Guinjata Bay is the beach of Coconut Bay, offering accommodation and a restaurant. The bay also has an amazing snorkeling reef that offers a variety of sea-life. A day on the beach at Coconut Bay is something you can include in your itinery.

Enjoy a relaxing day out snorkeling and collecting pansy shells. A must do when visiting Mozambique.

Barra Vida introduces a range of boating experiences operating from the beautiful Barra estuary.

"Our wildlife & birdwatching cruises allow nature lovers to observe and photograph a variety of species from the comfort of our shaded pontoon cruiser.

At low tide we visit the sandbanks and as the tide gets higher we cruise easily into the dense mangrove waterways. The mangroves also offer the most incredible sunsets."
